Opening your Ethical Easy Access Account (C/T/UA)

Are you eligible?
To open your Ethical Easy Access Account (C/T/UA) you need to meet the following requirements:
  • All representatives of the applicant organisation must be at least 18 years old and we are required to verify their identities as part of any application
  • All individuals named must be permanent UK resident
  • Your organisation must hold a UK bank or building society account. These details are known as your Nominated Account. Please note this account must be used for all credits and withdrawals.
  • Your organisation must have at least £10,000 to open an account
  • All beneficial owners (if applicable) must be private individuals. If this is not the case, please contact our Savings team
You will need
  • Your UK registered bank or building society account details
  • The address history for the last 3 years for all individuals named in this application
  • One of your active Charity Bank account numbers, if your organisation is an existing saver

Before you begin
During the application process, we will share the personal data provided in this form typically, in relation to each named contact, your personal and contact details along with your date of birth and job title, with selected Credit Reference Agencies for the purposes of verifying the identity of individuals referred to in the application form. The details of the agencies we use and their privacy policies can be found within our Privacy Notice on our website or via the link above. A record of this initial “soft search” will be kept on our file and will leave a non-detrimental footprint on the credit file of the relevant individuals, which will not be viewable by any other organisation. We do not base our decisions solely on this information, and so we may ask individuals to provide additional information if the electronic search is not successful. We may involve other trusted third parties in the processing of your personal data and where we do so we make this clear in our Privacy Notice.
